Jane’s revelation was like a bomb. Luke’s mind went blank; he nearly stumbled. He was shocked and furious. Alice “was” Sweet Lemon“! She’d been mocking him, including when he’d said he’d signed a skilled player–she’d known who he meant. She’d said nothing!
Luke’s eyes were bloodshot. He looked at Alice, devastated. “Alice, why did you lie to me?” Why hide it? Why not tell him she was the streamer?
Luke was heartbroken and confused. Hadn’t Alice always favored him?
Alice’s expression was calm.“I didn’t lie.”
“Then why didn’t you say you were the streamer?”
“Because it wasn’t necessary.”
Alice’s cold, clear gaze chilled Luke to the bone. He couldn’t believe her words. Even with their disagreements, he’d believed they were family. Why was this time different? She knew how important the competition was; why had she done this?
Noah pulled Luke back. “Calm down.”
“I can’t! How can I be calm?!” Luke turned to Noah, his eyes red.“Noah, I…” He was heartbroken.
Noah didn’t know what to say; he’d warned Luke that Alice had changed. Luke hadn’t listened. Now he knew.
Reporters surrounded Alice. “Miss Alice, why did you hide your identity? Is there a reason?”
“Are there rumors of conflict with your family?” This was a huge story.“[Sweet Lemon]” was the Windham heiress, the girl who’d mastered the twelve–hit combo! Such a talented girl left her family’s team to sign with Shrimp Live! There was definitely a story here!
Alice’s tone was detached. “There were disagreements. I decided to be independent.” She didn’t need to hide it anymore. It would stop the family from bothering her.
Noah sighed. He’d guessed right. Alice was deeply hurt and didn’t want to acknowledge them as brothers.
Luke accused her, “Alice, were those little disagreements worth betraying the family? Was it necessary?” Were family issues so serious? He’d thought she was just sulking. Now he realized she meant it. He was panicking.
Alice’s expression was unreadable; she didn’t bother responding. Those “small disagreements” had been painful for her.
“Consider this a small disagreement too, Luke. Such a generous person wouldn’t mind, right?”
Luke was speechless. He didn’t mean it that way, but he couldn’t explain himself.
Alice was surrounded by reporters. He couldn’t approach.
“Miss Alice, which team will you join for the finals?”
“You knew Green Fruit and Shrimp Live were competitors, yet you signed with Shrimp Live?”
Alice smiled.“I haven’t decided yet.”
“Miss Alice, why did you have a falling out with your family?”
Alice ignored the question, walking towards the hall, her steps firm. She didn’t look back at Luke or Noah, treating them like strangers.

Luke was surrounded by reporters. He was furious. “Stop asking! What’s it to you?!”
Chloe’s expression was complex. She hadn’t expected Alice to be the streamer! Alice had gained hundreds of thousands of followers, far surpassing her. Chloe felt bitter. Why? She’d worked hard, but Alice had gained so many followers by simply hiding her identity?
Noah remained calm, pulling Luke aside. “Enough. Don’t make a bigger scene.”
Luke, wiping his eyes, said nothing.
Noah addressed the reporters.“The Windham family will handle this. Please don’t misreport. We’ll release a
statement.”
He pulled Luke inside. Chloe lingered, looking apologetic to the reporters, “Luke was upset. Alice’s words were hurtful. She’s angry, but family matters should be discussed privately. I don’t understand.”
She smiled triumphantly. Alice wouldn’t return to the family!
At the banquet, Alice attracted attention.“[Sweet Lemon],” the rising star, was the Windham heiress. But she was livestreaming for Shrimp Live, her family’s rival.
Jane said, “That was so satisfying! They were so biased! Luke’s shocked face was priceless!”
Alice smiled. This time, she’d arrived here on her own.
“Miss Alice, I’m Daniel, coach of Blitzkrieg Team. Are you interested in our team?”
Alice recognized him. Last time, he’d led Blitzkrieg Team to the world championship, and he’d been King’s coach.
She was surprised by his invitation. Blitzkrieg Team’s captain had also invited her, but she hadn’t taken it seriously.
Alice took his card.“Mr. Daniel, I haven’t decided yet.”

Alice smiled.“Self–taught. Do you believe me?”

Daniel sighed. “With your talent, how could your brothers let you go?”
Luke and Noah approached, their faces grim.“Daniel, this is our family matter!”
