Chapter 75
Alice quickly restored the deleted security footage.
She watched the footage and was sure that once she released it online, Chloe’s lies would be exposed.
A message popped up from Noah, “I’ve already spoken to Chloe. She won’t say anything else about it.”
Alice found it ridiculous.
Was that all?
Chloe’s words had already caused significant damage.
Did Noah mean it was settled and that she should let it go just because he had spoken to Chloe? Absurd!
Disappointed, Alice deleted Noah on WhatsApp. She thought she should have done this a long time ago.
That evening, during her livestream, Alice faced a barrage of attacks from haters.
“Why are you bullying Princess Chocolate, using your status to force her to apologize on livestream?”
“That’s right! You pushed Princess Chocolate at the party, causing her serious injuries.”
Alice remained unmoved when she read the haters‘ comments.
She just said indifferently, “It’s simple. Chloe is lying.”
“How can you say Princess Chocolate is lying? Do you have any proof?”
“Exactly! We all saw Princess Chocolate’s injuries, yet you’re unscathed.”
Then, a lavish tipping flash appeared with the account’s name Landing Team.
Alice’s annoyance flared. She thought, “Luke again?”
She vividly remembered how he showed his hatred towards her at the party, wondering what he was up to.
A private message was sent to Alice from Luke.
“Just apologize, and I’ll testify for you.”
Alice laughed. Hilarious.
Did Luke want her to apologize?
She replied, “Go to hell!”
She didn’t even want to waste her energy on him.
Seeing Alice’s reply, Luke, furious, slammed his keyboard. “We’ll see how you explain this, Alice. You refuse to back down. You’ll regret it!”
Noah had wanted Luke to clear things up on the livestream, but Alice’s attitude pissed Luke off.
Luke thought, “Why should I help her?
“She doesn’t even treat me as her brother!”
On the livestream, Alice addressed her viewers. “I have the security footage from the party. I’ll upload it shortly. You’ll see the truth for yourselves from the footage.”
She uploaded the footage and then began her gaming matches.

Completely focused on the game, she didn’t give the video a second thought.
She dominated, winning each match within minutes.
Viewers were all shocked by her skill.
“Guys, do you sense that Lemon is extra fired up today?”

“Probably someone’s trying to frame her, so Lemon feels bad. I feel sorry for the opponent players. She’s utterly kicking their asses.”
“Lemon is a boss killer.”
Alice could win any opponent she matched easily.
No one was able to replace her, the undeniable first place!
After winning and securing her place in the top 10, Alice paused to have some water and relax.
Jane messaged Alice, “Chloe deleted all her morning posts and is now claiming it was all a misunderstanding with a pretentious tone!”
Then Alice saw Chloe show up in her livestream.
Chloe’s name in the livestream was Princess Chocolate.
Chloe sent a gift flash and said insincerely, “Alice, it was all a misunderstanding. I’ve already explained it to my fans, asking them to stop the harassment. It was my fault.”
Alice responded coldly, “Since you know you’re wrong, leave. You’re not welcome here. Stop trying to leech off
me.”
Chloe’s eyes widened. She hadn’t expected Alice to be so unfriendly.
She’d only come to apologize to curry favor with Noah.
She never expected Alice to gain the security footage, or she would never come to apologize to Alice.
Alice continued, “Everyone knows we don’t get along. I’m not pretending to be on good terms with you. It’s disgusting.”
Luke couldn’t stand it and intercepted, “Chloe came to apologize. But why are you still so mean to her?”
“Is her apology so precious that I have to forgive her? If apologies were so effective, what would we need police for?” Alice’s tone was sharp.
Alice’s fans echoed in agreement, “Exactly! She manipulated public opinion this morning, slandering Lemon, only to be exposed by the security footage. We all know her tricks!”
“Princess Chocolate, get lost! We don’t want you here.”
“She’s probably jealous of Lemon’s popularity and skills. So she played tricks to ruin Lemon! Shame on her!”
Facing so many curses, Chloe fled in disgrace.
Seeing her fanbase plummet, she panicked. She never expected that Alice would get the footage.
She rushed to Luke in tears.“Luke, I tried my best.”
Luke was still on Alice’s livestream. He saw what happened.
His expression darkened. “I know, it’s not your fault. You knew Noah. And Alice refused to apologize. Why

bother? Good job. She signs with Shrimp Live and doesn’t care about the Welch family!”
Maras
Noah clutched his aching stomach. “Alice is powerful enough to choose who she works with as she likes.”
“But she’s still a member of the Welch family! She’s stabbing us in the back! I don’t believe she’s unaware of our competition with Shrimp Live.”
Luke still seethed.
He’d lost face at the party. And now, everyone laughed at him for letting his talented sister go to his competitor. Chloe feigned understanding and comforted, “Luke, Alice just got moody. She won’t actually join another team.”
Noah looked at her. “Chloe, why did you mislead everyone on the livestream? Didn’t you know the consequences?*
Chloe’s eyes instantly became red.
Luke immediately defended her. “Noah, Chloe apologized sincerely. What else do you want? You can’t be so tough with her for Alice’s sake!”
Noah’s stomach pain intensified.“Can’t you understand?”
“I understand perfectly. Alice’s just spoiled. We’ll see how long she can stay on top. Chloe, let’s go.”
Noah’s headache worsened. He finally understood Alice’s past grievances.
He spent 17,000 dollars to send gifts to Alice’s livestream, leaving a message, “What happened at the party was a misunderstanding. It had nothing to do with Alice. As her brother, I support her choices.”
Alice felt no emotion at the flash of Noah’s gifts in the livestream.
She ended the livestream, unwilling to watch Noah’s ingratiation.
She left the study, finding Jack gone. He seemed extremely busy.
She didn’t see him for several days.
She felt something was wrong, but she couldn’t quite figure it out.
The SAT results were about to be released, and Alice felt anxious.
She messaged Jack, “Busy lately? Will you be around when the SAT results come out?”
Jack read her message but didn’t reply for a long time.
Andrew noticed and said, “The message is from Alice, right? You’ve been avoiding her, haven’t you? What happened? Did she express her love to you?”
Jack subtly shifted his gaze, his fingers tightening around his phone.
He said softly, ‘She’s too young. She doesn’t understand what love is.”
Jack knew the gap between them was more than just age; it was insurmountable.
Alice still hated those who had killed her parents.
That drunken kiss that night had left him reeling and hiding.
“Damn! I guessed right. There’s a solution. Tell her you have a girlfriend when you come back to see her. She’ll give up then.”
Jack’s gaze was deep. “Maybe you’re right. It’s time for me to leave.”
