Drenched from head to toe, Zachary leaned against the wall, rainwater trickling down his face. He eyed the six beaten figures before him warily, their features blurred under the downpour. “Who are you?”
“D“mn you, give us back our money!” A tall man, with eyes red from fury, charged aggressively at Zachary
Zachary swiftly sidestepped, seizing the man’s wrist. With a swift elbow strike to his chest, he forced the man into retreat.
The other five individuals immediately rushed forward, simultaneously attacking Zachary. Each of them was armed with a knife. Zachary reacted swiftly, but he still ended up getting injured.
Swoosh! A blade sliced through the sleeve of his suit, causing blood to gush out from his arm and quickly disappear into the rain.
Zachary let out a furious roar, sending the man sprawling with a kick. The man collapsed to the ground, clutching his stomach, and spat out a mouthful of blood
“Alright, maybe we should…” One of them began to have second thoughts.
The original plan was merely to make Zachary suffer a little.
