Zachary put down his fork, silently watching her.
With a chuckle, Lenora continued to leisurely enjoy her meal. “Just pretend I didn’t say anything.”
She knew it would turn out this way.
He was guarding against her, using Lola to counterbalance her.
He simply didn’t believe her, didn’t believe that she wouldn’t target Susanna.
“You may make other requests.”

Everything she desired, Zachary could not fulfill.
Zachary fell silent as he gazed into her eyes.
As the meal was nearing its end, Zachary said, “Grandpa and Grandma have invited us to dine at the Fuller residence tonight.”
Lenora nodded. “Got it.”
Perhaps due to Zachary and Susanna trending online, Gerald became aware of Zachary’s activities. He specifically waited for Zachary to return from his business trip before inviting them to the Fuller residence.
After finishing his meal, Lenora put down her fork. “Thank you for the hospitality, Mr. Fuller. I have finished eating.”
Zachary glanced at his watch. “There’s still some time before work starts. How about you take a nap in my
rest room?”
After some thought, Lenora said, “That works.”
She always found it more comfortable to lie down than to sit.
Lenora entered the lounge.
The size of this lounge was about the same as a master bedroom, fully equipped with everything one

Lenora removed her shoes and climbed into bed, pulling the covers over herself. She had intended to take a short nap, but inadvertently, she fell into a deep sleep
When Lenora woke up, she reached for her phone on the pillow next to her. As she turned on the screen, she was shocked to find that it was already past three in the afternoon.

Upon stepping outside, Lenora discovered that Miles was also present.
Upon seeing Lenora emerge from Zachary’s lounge, Miles, the assistant, kept his eyes down, pretending as if he hadn’t seen anything.
He was the only one in the company who knew about the relationship between Lenora and Zachary.
These bosses have both a wife and a secret lover. Each one of them loved to pamper young celebrities.
He initially thought that Zachary was different, but it turned out he was no different from the rest.
However, as a subordinate, he couldn’t say much.
“I didn’t wake you because you were sleeping so soundly,” Zachary said.
“I’m going back to work first.”
“Remember to wait for me in the garage after work in the evening.”
“I know.”
After finishing work in the evening, Lenora and Zachary went to the Fuller residence together.
Gerald was seated in the living room. Upon seeing the two enter, he beckoned them to sit beside him. “Nora, I only just heard that you injured your foot a few days ago. How is it? Has it gotten better?”
Lenora said with a smile, “Grandpa, it’s already healed. Look…”
Lenora stretched out her leg.
Gerald chuckled. “It’s good that everything’s fine. Very good.”
“Where is Grandma?” Lenora asked.
Gerald pointed toward the kitchen and said, “Your grandma is in the kitchen, making soup for you all. She’s always thinking of new ways to prepare food. Just let her be and let her do her thing. Come, Nora, accompany me for two more rounds of chess.”
Lenora helped Gerald to the edge of the chessboard, where they sat facing each other, leaving Zachary ignored on the side.
The two were engrossed in their game of chess, unaware of the significant amount of time that had already passed.
When Lenora regained her senses, she glanced at her watch, and it was already past eight o’clock.

Her stomach had already started to growl. “Grandpa, why is dinner so late today?”

“You’ll have to ask your grandma about that. She said she was in charge of your dinner tonight, brewing some sort of special, rare soup. I’m not sure why, but it still not ready”
As they were speaking, the elderly lady emerged from the kitchen carrying a pot of soup. “Come, it’s ready. It’s time for dinner,” she announced.
The housekeeper brought out the rest of the dishes.
Allison was excitedly serving soup to Lenora and Zachary. “Nora, Zack, you must drink more. This is specially made by me. Have a taste quickly.”
“Grandma, please sit down and eat.”
Lenora spoke, lowering her head. Suddenly, the overpowering, greasy smell of the soup hit her nose. Unable to control herself, she quickly ran to the bathroom, retching dryly.
“Nora, what’s going on?” Allison pondered Lenora’s recent behavior, exclaiming excitedly, “Oh my, could it be that Nora is expecting?”
Zachary shook his head calmly. “No, she’s been having stomach issues recently and has been on a strict diet and medication.”
“Ah? Is that so? Have you been to the hospital for a check–up?” Allison persisted.
“Nora has been there,” Zachary said.
Upon hearing Zachary’s words, Allison finally gave up.
She glared at Zachary with a mix of frustration and disappointment. “You, oh you. Three years into marriage and not a hint of progress. How can you be so utterly useless?”
Zachary was rendered speechless.
After rinsing her mouth, Lenora emerged from the bathroom and gently pushed the bowl of soup away from her. “Grandma, I’m truly sorry,” she said. “I’ve been having some stomach issues recently, and the smell of this soup makes me feel nauseous. I’m afraid I won’t be able to appreciate your kindness.”
Allison hurriedly reassured, “It’s all right, it’s all right. Your health is what matters most. Your health is what matters most.”
After she finished speaking, Allison turned to Zachary, pushing the bowl of soup that was meant for Lenora toward him. “Zack,” she said, “since Nora cannot drink it, you should finish it all.”
“There’s so much soup. I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish it all,” Zachary said, looking at the two bowls of soup in front of him.
It’s not much at all. How can you not finish it? How can a grown man have such a small appetite? No wonder you’re not up to par.”
Zachary was at a loss for words.
After dinner, it was already past nine, nearing ten.

Gerald spoke up. “It’s already late now. Why don’t you stay here for the night and leave tomorrow?”
“Sure.”
Lenora spent some time downstairs accompanying Gerald and Allison, watching a soap opera. Afterward, he went upstairs to freshen up.
Zachary had spent some time working in Gerald’s study.
For some unknown reason, he felt a bit sluggish in the head, so he shut down his computer and returned to his room.
The room was empty, with only the sound of running water in the bathroom stirring his heartstrings.
Lenora was taking a bath.
The mind that usually couldn’t keep up was spinning rapidly at this moment, conjuring up a series of imaginative scenes in an instant.
Zachary’s brow furrowed slightly, feeling an intense heat coursing through his body.
He had a reaction.
Zachary went to the wardrobe to fetch his pajamas, then headed to the external bathroom to wash up and take a bath.
He pressed down on the door handle, but it wouldn’t budge.
After pressing twice more to no avail, Zachary suddenly realized that the door to the room had been locked from the outside.
Without a doubt, this must have been a solution thought up by his grandparents.
Zachary had no other choice but to stay in the room, listening to the sound of water in the bathroom. On the surface, he remained stoic, but he was increasingly restless inside. Deep down, a wicked thought was stirring.
Ever since he went on a business trip last month, he hadn’t been intimate, and it’s already been over a month now.
The sound of water in the bathroom ceased.
Then, the sound of the hairdryer echoed again.

Lenora, clad in her pajamas, emerged from the bathroom, only to be startled by Zachary sitting on the edge of the

she asked, “Why aren’t you getting ready for bed?”
Zachary’s eyes were pitch black, staring intently at Lenora. He pointed to the door, his voice hoarse. “The door was locked from the outside by my
grandparents.”
