On a seat in the first row, Susanna turned around and waved at Zachary. “Zachary, over here.”

She had initially thought that Zachary would join her at the table, sitting alone with her.

As she spoke, Susanna rose and walked toward the back.

Lenora’s hands, resting on her lap, tightly clutched her skirt, her heartache so intense that it left her breathless.

Immediately, Jonas gave up his seat to him.
The staff assumed the emergency position, striking forcefully at Lenora’s chest.
