wolf’s den?” Wyatt Hale cocked his head to look at Zoe Bell, who was driving.

“I haven’t regretted it.”
Wyatt Hale’s head was aching. Had she been brainwashed by his brother?
Before he could say anything else, his phone vibrated, the caller ID read “Dear Brother.” Zoe caught a glimpse of him straightening up quickly, smiling sweetly, and calling out tenderly, “Bro-”
She almost burst out laughing.
Because his voice was so incredibly sycophantic!
Zoe parked the car at a temporary spot on the roadside and went into the family’s herbal shop. Wyatt made sure she had left before he grinned

“Grandpa sent me.”
“Did he tell you to do anything else?”

Wyatt was warned yet again before the Demon King finally hung up, and he sighed with relief.
When Zoe returned with the things she had bought, she also brought him an ice cream. Wyatt was stunned and then looked at her again, thanked her as he took it, and muttered to himself as he ate:

Zoe just thought he was still young and precociously solemn, which was quite cute, and since he was
William Hale’s brother, she felt obligated to take good care of him and took him to Greenland’s finest
shopping mall.
After buying clothes for Wyatt, they passed a shop specializing in custom suits.
She figured since William had given her a gift, she should respond in kind.
Wyatt, not liking shopping, didn’t enter. He sat down outside at a random spot to report his reconnaissance progress to Grandpa.
This was too hard; he was only supposed to gather intelligence, but now he had somehow become a double agent.

Zoe’s brow furrowed slightly, and as their gazes collided, she indeed recognized a familiar face-
Mina Bell!
She obviously hadn’t expected to run into Zoe here either and was equally taken aback.

The man trying on the suit didn’t get a response.

Following Mina’s gaze to Zoe, he stood frozen.
Compared to Mina’s full–on Chanel style suit and various pieces of jewelry, she was dressed exceptionally simple–a soft, grey wide–leg pants paired with a misty blue shirt, sophisticated and gentle. Without any additional adornments, she was so beautiful that it was impossible to look away.
“Ruben Fletcher!” Mina kicked the man’s shin. “What
are you looking at?”

The man named Ruben Fletcher furrowed his brow but did not speak.
His gaze still fixed on Zoe Bell.
Where had he seen such a beautiful person? She was like a fairy, her skin so pale it glowed.
Next to them sat a middle–aged couple, looking somewhat ill at ease.
Zoe guessed the identities of the group, these were Mina Bell’s adoptive parents and brother. Their family
name was Fletcher, and her previous name was Fiona Fletcher.

They were probably here to buy clothes for the
welcome banquet.
The Bell Family was hosting a banquet that had invited many people, and Mina’s adoptive parents were definitely expected to be there.
“Sorry, I was busy just now. How can I help you?” A sales assistant hastily approached Zoe.
“I’d like to see those two Lapel Chains.”
“I’ll get them for you right away.”
“Thank you.” As Zoe Bell took the Lapel Chains, Mina Bell had already sashayed over. The Bell Family had hired someone to help her dress up, and compared to before, she had changed a lot.

In the past at the Bell Family, Zoe always acted cordially and never dared to talk to her like this.
Wyatt Hale had just finished reporting to his grandfather.
As he entered the shop and saw Zoe talking to someone, he thought she was with an acquaintance, so he did not approach to disturb them.

Mina continued.
Zoe found her quite amusing, and looking askance at her, said, “Where do you see that I can’t let go of him?”
“Don’t worry, I won’t fight over him with you.”

“After all, you like picking up trash, so I’ll gift him to you. A man who’s still fooling around with you despite having a fiancée–I don’t care for that kind of man.”
“Zoe Bell, you…” Mina took a deep breath.
“Keep deluding yourself. I don’t believe you can find anyone better than Brandon,” Mina asserted.
“Wow, have you truly never seen a man before!” Wyatt Hale could not hold back any longer, “Trash is trash, cheap is cheap. If you’re so fond of him, afraid others will covet him, why not put him on a leash.“.
