With a “thud-”
his legs completely folded, crashing heavily onto the ground.
Overwhelmed by the pain, he couldn’t help but want to scream out loud, but unexpectedly, his mouth was
covered from behind.
The person was incredibly strong, actually dragging him, forcibly pulling him to the side.
Zoe Bell was held in an embrace, only hearing the sound of a heavy object hitting the ground. When the

“Are you alright?” William Hale scrutinized her.

“I know, I had Wyatt accompany you to the car first, I’ll
handle the rest.”
Zoe Bell trusted him completely.
Wyatt Hale had no idea what had occurred. After getting into the car with Zoe Bell, he was still engrossed in his comics, only lifting his head when he heard his sister–in–law sigh, then turned to ask, “Sister–in–law, are you unhappy because my brother went to work during a date?
“No.”
“Then why the sigh all of a sudden?”
“I just encountered…” Zoe Bell briefly relayed what had

to him, and Wyatt Hale’s pupils dilated- damn, how could so many things happen in just ten or so minutes.
And how could he have missed such a huge ruckus!
“Since my brother is dealing with it, what else do you have to worry about?”
“That Ruben is nothing but a rogue, Mr. Hale is a gentleman, and in his life, he probably has never encountered such a street thug, vulgar talkers spewing nonsense and filthy language. I’m worried Mr. Hale won’t be able to handle him?”
Wyatt Hale doubted his own hearing!

When R n Fletcher was dragged into the restroom by Kyle Lowe, Zac Cruz casually hung up the “Cleaning in Progress” sign. Fletcher struggled violently, but with his mouth covered, he couldn’t even beg for mercy.
It wasn’t until William Hale entered and the hand covering his mouth loosened.
“I’ll fuck your…” Having been immersed in society for so long, curses came to Fletcher naturally. But before he could finish, Lowe delivered a kick to his back.
“Bang=”
He crashed onto the tiled floor, groaning in pain, hands propped against the floor in an attempt to get
- up.
“Aren’t you that Hale guy from last night? Let me tell you, if you dare to touch me again, I… ”
William Hale approached casually.
One step, two steps…
And then,
he stepped on the fingers Fletcher had pressed against the floor.

With the gers connected to the heart, the excruciating pain made him break out in a cold sweat. He looked up, bloodshot eyes meeting Hale’s, who loomed above, exuding a terrifying aura.
Especially when his eyes were downcast, they were cold and predatory, as though devoid of any humanity.
He just rolled over them and moved to the side, pulling out a metal lighter from his pocket.
With a “click” the spark flared and died.
“What did you say about her?” William Hale’s voice was neither hurried nor slow, like someone holding a knife to your throat, slowly carving and bleeding you out,
excruciatingly torturous.
“I know you have connections, but this is Greenland, and we’re in a society ruled by law, what can you do to
me!”
Ruben Fletcher was alone and somewhat scared.
But he still put on a brave face.
“Did your parents ever teach you to keep a low profile and watch your words when you’re out?” William lightly grazed the surface of his lighter, and even

Ruben Fletcher didn’t even have the chance to speak
again before he was dragged up from the ground and restrained.
A slap across the face suddenly split his lip.
He was stunned.
Damn, you’re not supposed to hit the face!
“What the hell do you want to do, believe it or not, I’ll call the police!”
As a result, the slaps came from both sides, one after
the other.
The sound of slapping in the desolate restroom seemed especially eerie.
Ruben Fletcher’s lips were busted open, and his face was swollen and bruised from the blows, the
crisscrossing red marks a stark sight, until William clicked his lighter again, and Kyle Lowe finally stopped.
“Call the police?” William tilted his head to look at him, “You dare to follow me into the police station?”

He had been partying wildly, and to spice things up, he had taken some shady substances; he truly didn’t dare
- go.
Did this man know it all?
Such private matters… he knew them, making Ruben Fletcher suddenly scared. He begged for mercy repeatedly, but his swollen mouth barely allowed him
to form a coherent sentence.
“From now on, if you see her, take a different path,”
William warned.
Ruben Fletcher nodded again and again.
“Also, pass a message to your sister,” William said casually, still fiddling with his phone.
“Watch your mouth.”
“Be careful that disaster doesn’t come from your own words. When the time comes, not even the Bell Family can save her.”
William didn’t know the backstory, but since he knew about this man’s relationship with Mina Bell, he could infer where those rumors that he had spread had

His sister–in–law really didn’t understand how formidable his brother was.

It almost scared the pee out of him.
Zoe, seeing William, was about to speak when he boarded the car holding a bouquet of flowers; cappuccino roses, vintage colors, elegant, and high–class.
He offered the flowers to Zoe, and after a brief pause, she took them, “Thank you.”
“What made you think to buy flowers suddenly?”
“Don’t you like them?”
“I do.” There probably weren’t many girls who wouldn’t like receiving flowers.
Giving flowers on a date is quite normal, and Wyatt Hale assessed the two with an extremely gossipy look.
Zoe held the flowers, inside was a card:
[There might be five thousand flowers in the world just like you, but you are my one and only rose.]
She caught her breath, her heart fluttering
