Asher transferred Daphne there 

Now that Adait was asking, Lacey was not stupid. 

She knew she couldn’t tell Adair that her husband bad arranged for Daphne to come here. 

Lacey said. “Yes. She has a decent educational background and quite capable.. 

Adair said to Lacey, “I don’t like her. Fire her.” 

“Did she offend you in any way?” Lacey asked in confusion because she felt that Daphne was not bad.
