Third Person POV
Orion stormed into his chambers, siamming the heavy wooden door behind him so hard that the walls trembled.
Mis jaw clenched as he ripped off the ridiculous trousers Declan had cursed him with, tossing them across the room. Humiliation burned in his veins like fire.
Decian, Damien. Daniel. Damon. Those arrogant bastards.
Not only had Damien taken the girl he wanted, but Declan had humiliated him in front of the entire council while the other brothers watched on with stupid smirks on their faces.
He could still hear the muffled laughter from the halls, their judgmental stares as he had sat down, ashamed. A lesser man would have cowered in shame. But Orion? Orion was no lesser man. He was the son of the co–founder of Night Moon Park. He had history, he had rights and he would make them pay.
A knock on the door interrupted his dark thoughts, Orion turned with a murderous expression on his face.
“Enter,” the barked.
The door creaked open, revealing Sawyer, his most trusted personal guard. The man immediately fell to his knees, bowing low.
“Master,” Sawyer said, keeping his head down. “The Warlock is on his way.”
Orion’s lips curled.
Finally.
Sawyer hesitated before speaking again. “The moon eclipse is fast approaching. You will have your revenge, my lord. Everything is falling into place. I do not think we… We need the warlock.”
Orion scoffed. “You don’t understand, Sawyer. You weren’t there. You didn’t see the way they laughed at me, the way they stripped me of my dignity. Declan made me look like a fool in front of everyone. And Damien-” his teeth gnashed together, “–that bastard took what was mine.”
Sure, the girl would probably have lasted a few nights, but Orion didn’t care much about her. Now that Damien had taken her though, he couldn’t help
but want her even more.
Sawyer said nothing. He knew better than to interrupt his master’s anger.
Orion paced the length of his chamber, his fists tightening. “The eclipse is soon, yes. But I will not wait. I refuse to wait.”
A sudden gust of cold wind swept through the room, extinguishing several candles in its path. The air grew thick with the scent of burning sage and something far more sinister. The flames in the fireplace flickered violently before turning an eerie shade of blue.
And then–he was there.
Warlock Zorvath.
His presence was like a shadow, like something unseen yet definitely there. He stood in the center of the chamber, cloaked in a flowing black robe and a hood hiding his face.
“What is it that troubles you so deeply,” Zorvath drawled, his voice an unnatural whisper, as though it came from multiple directions at once. “You couldn’t even wait for nightfall before summoning me?”
Orion straightened, regaining his composure. He would not look weak in front of the warlock.

Texperienced an insull,” he spat. “One that I will not forget His fingers curled into his pain. “And I will not wait for the eclipse to get my revenga
Zorvath chuckled, a sound that made the air grow colder. “Impatience is a dangerous thing, Minister Orion. But then again, you always were reckless.” He lifted a pale hand, tracing unseen patterns in the air. “Tell me, how far are you willing to go for this… revenge?”
Orion smirked. “As far as it takes.”
Zorvath tilted his head, his shadowed eyes gleaming with amusement. “Speak, Minister Orion. Tell me what it is you desire.”
Chion’s lips curled into a sneer. The warlock liked to talk in riddles and that irritated him a lot..
want magic, warlock. I want you to enhance the curse upon the four Alphas. Make them lose control during the moon eclipse. Make them more violent, more bloodthirsty than they’ve ever been. I want them to dey everything–kill their own people if necessary.” His eyes darkened. “When the destruction is great enough, they’ll have no choice but to abandon the throne. And when they do… I will claim it. It is my right.”
Zorvath let out a slow, deliberate hum. “Your ambition is admirable, Minister Orion. But your memory is short.” He stepped forward, the shadows around him fading slightly.
“You’re saying the magic I cast ten years ago wasn’t enough? Yet it took them a full decade to regain control.” He chuckled darkly. “What you ask now would require a greater sacrifice. The cost will be heavy, more than before.”
Orion frowned. “I don’t care about the cost.”
The warlock’s smirk widened. “Oh, but you should.” He lifted his hand, and the room trembled with power. He closed his eyes and then flashed them open with a sigh. “However… there may be no need for magic this time.”
Orion’s brows furrowed. “What do you mean?”
“I sense a presence around them,” Zorvath murmured. “A dark energy. The kind of woman the prophecy warned them against.” His eyes glowed faintly beneath his hood. “If she remains close to them during the eclipse, they will not be able to control their power. Their destruction will happen.”
Orion’s expression shifted from confusion to delight. “The fool has allowed such a woman near them?” He let out a cold laugh. “Damien, Damien, Damien… how predictable.”
Zorvath nodded. “Indeed. Your task is simple–make sure she stays close to them is when the moon rises. No magic required. The prophecy will do the work for you.”
Orion’s clapped gleefully. This was better than he had hoped. “Then there’s no need for a spell,” he mused. “If she is already inside the pack, finding her will be easy.”
The warlock slowly disappeared but they could still hear his voice. “That’s a wise decision. But remember, Minister Orion, fate is a fickle thing. Do not underestimate the prophecy. Find the girl… and let chaos unfold.”
And with that, he vanished completely.
A deep silence filled the chamber.
Sawyer lifted his head. “Master, I told you that you would find a solution.”
Orion grinned, his teeth gleaming in the dim light.dark–energynow, finding the dark energy woman is our next move.”
Sawyer hesitated. “Shall I use the spell to locate her, my lord?”
Orion’s grin widened. “Do it.” He turned to his desk, picking up a pen. “And while you’re at it, send a message to Katrina.” His eyes gleamed with anticipation. “It’s time for her to come back home.”
