Chapter 53
Chloe quickly comforted me, “Don’t be upset, Wyn. Family ties are hard to break. Once you get
a divorce from Jameson and get back what’s rightfully yours, all you have to do is apologize to your family. I’m sure they’ll forgive you.”
A wave of hope washed over me.
“Do you really think that’s possible?”
“Of course! You’re still their daughter, no matter what. Your parents are getting older, and your brother only has one sister. That’s you. They were probably just disappointed with your past choices. If you show that you’re sorry, I’m sure they’ll come around.”
Chloe’s words brought me some comfort. She was right. My parents and Charles loved me and spoiled me so much when I was younger. There was no way they would just abandon me.
Once I cut ties with Jameson, they’d definitely forgive me. Even if they didn’t, I was sure they wouldn’t completely turn their backs on me.
Regardless, family bonds could be mended over time, but I had to put an end to this marriage with Jameson.
Chloe and I talked for a while before the butler approached me. “Ms. Lambert, the driver is waiting outside for you.”
“What’s going on?” I asked.
The butler smiled and replied politely, “Mr. Zook has sent for Mr. Craswell to take you to check out a few properties for your move. There are three options, so you can pick the one you like best.”
I was stunned. “That was quick.”
“Yes, Ms. Lambert. Mr. Craswell is waiting for you in the driveway.”
I quickly made my way to the driveway. Sure enough, there was a Maybach parked outside, waiting for me.
I got
into the car, still feeling surprised by how quickly Tristan had arranged all of this.
“Ms. Lambert, Mr. Zook is still at the office. He asked me to take you to the property by the beach first. If you don’t like it, we can check out the one in the city center,” Nigel said.
“What about the third one?” I asked curiously.
Nigel smiled. “The third one is at the top floor of Zook Corporation. Mr. Zook thinks the location lacks privacy, so it’s more of a backup.”
After pondering for a moment, I nodded. “Alright, let’s go. Thank you.”

“No worries, Ms. Lambert,” Nigel replied politely as the car eased out of the Zook residence.
Meanwhile, Uriah was at a tennis court near the Zook residence. He was dressed in a sporty T-
shirt and shorts.

game.
Camila was there too. She was chatting with a few other young women at the side of the tennis court. They were all dressed in stylish tennis outfits and appeared energetic and fit.
Noticing that Uriah had stopped his game, Camila walked over to him and followed his line of sight.
“Why is Tristan only leaving for work at this hour? Is that bitch bothering him again?” Camila huffed.
With a knowing smile, Uriah replied, “Tristan had already left for work early this morning. He’s just sending someone to take Wynonna to look at some new places.”
“What?” Camila exclaimed, her voice rising in shock.
“Could you keep it down, Camila?” Uriah asked jokingly as he covered his ears.
“What does he think he’s doing? Has he really fallen for that bitch?” Camila lowered her voice. Her expression darkened as she continued, “I knew she was trouble! What a cunning little snake!”
Uriah’s eyes sparkled with intrigue. “To make someone like Tristan fall for her… What a fascinating woman.”
A hint of jealousy flashed across Camila’s eyes.
“Uriah, you can’t just stand there and let Tristan be led astray! You have to help him get rid of that bitch. Otherwise, if she keeps this up, she could actually become our sister–in–law!”
