“Oh? Is she going to be my sister–in–law now?” Uriah asked in a sarcastic tone. “If she does, that would be interesting…”
There was a sly smile playing on his lips.
“Uriah, do you really think she’s worthy enough to be part of the Zook family?” Camila
frowned.
Uriah shot her a quick glance and
simhat’s Wrong with that? Are you jealous?”
“No! I didn’t mean it that way…” Camila quickly denied it.
“I just don’t understand who would want to be with someone like Wynonna. She’s got such a bad reputation!”
A smirk appeared on Uriah’s face. “I think she’s pretty great, not at all what you just said.”
Camila was at a loss for words.
“Do you have feelings for her too, Uriah?”
Uriah didn’t respond. Instead, he waved toward the group of young women nearby. They rushed over to him and began playfully flirting, with him.
After a while, he pulled one of them close and planted a few kisses on her cheek. Then, the rest of them erupted into laughter.
As the group crowded around him, Camila was shoved aside. She could only force a smile and started to gather her tennis gear.
Suddenly, something seemed to cross her mind. She pulled out her phone, walked to the side, and made a call.
After hanging up, her expression shifted from anger to a sly grin.
Uriah, on the other hand, was still flirting with the group of young women. The group was quite eye–catching as all of them were incredibly good–looking.
After a while, Camila interjected, “I heard that Xandra is attending the famous art exhibition. in the city tomorrow. There’ll be many notable figures attending too. I’m so envious.”
Uriah shot her a brief glance. “What’s there to be envious about?” He sneered.
“There’ll be so many influential people there, don’t you think it’s a great opportunity to network? Perhaps it’s good to go and mingle around, you might meet some big names!” Camila replied.
Uriah chuckled. “I’m the one with connections. I don’t need to meet anyone new.“”
Camila continued, “I also heard that Tristan might be joining too. I wonder if he’ll be bringing a plus one…”
Uriah studied Camila carefully. Then, he turned to the young woman beside him and said, ” Let’s make a bet.”
Nigel drove us to a beachfront villa. The view was breathtaking, but it was a little too windy for my liking. The villa was fully furnished with all the essentials.
1 pondered briefly and asked, “Is this entire villa just for my temporary stay?”
With a gentle smile, Nigel replied, “Yes, Mr. Zook said that you enjoy sea views, so he thought that this was a great option. However, the location is a bit far from the city, so you’d need a car and a driver.”
I nodded in agreement.
Noticing my hesitation, Nigel suggested, “Should we take a look at the apartment in the city center instead, Ms. Lambert?”
I nodded again.
Half an hour later, we arrived at the apartment. The apartment was on the 23rd floor, overlooking the bustling streets of the city center, I couldn’t help but smile as I took in the view.
Noticing my reaction, Nigel knew that I had decided on this place. “Shall I him know that you’ve decided on this one?”
I quickly asked, “How much would it cost to rent this place?”

Nigel paused briefly. Then, he replied cautiously, “This is a luxury apartment. It’s rarely. available for rent so it’s hard to say what the rent might be.”
“I can’t just stay here for free. Please let Mr. Zook know that I’d like to rent it and ask him for a price.”
Nigel was mindful of his role. He tactfully answered, “Ms. Lambert, Mr. Zook only informed. me to show you these places. The rest is for you two to discuss.”
Realizing his point, I nodded.
Once Nigel left, I couldn’t contain my excitement any longer and began exploring the apartment.
